What is a horse riding weekend?
These weekends are dedicated to those who love horses and life in the stables.
If you or someone in your family is horsey-mad, take this opportunity to spend two whole days with the equestrian team for riding lessons, hacks, animal care, and lots of fun.
With guidance from the fantastic instructors and volunteers, you’ll get to enjoy:
- Riding tuition, which could involve a hack to Wistlandpound Reservoir depending on the weather
- Horse-based games and riding challenges to increase confidence
- Grooming
- Tacking up
- Feeding
- Other general duties that showcase life in the stables to the fullest
When do horse riding weekends take place?
We hold several weekends throughout the year, and in 2025 the dates are…
20 to 23 June – £497 pp
15 to 18 August – £531 pp
17 to 20 October – £355 pp
The quoted price includes accommodation, meals, facilities, swimming pool use, and full access to the equestrian centre for your dedicated riding time.
