A new name for the same incredible adventures!
We are thrilled to announce that Calvert Exmoor has a new name – Calvert Devon! This exciting change reflects our growth, new activities, and upgraded accommodation, marking a fresh chapter in our journey. While our name is evolving, our mission remains the same: to provide adventure without limits for every ability and everybody.
This rebrand has been generously donated and brought to life by the creative team at Travel Chapter, and we are beyond grateful for their contribution in helping us share our vision with even more people. Our new identity embraces everything we stand for – adventure, inclusivity, and inspiration – while also showcasing our beautiful Devon home.
Alongside our new name, we’ve introduced exciting new features, including brand-new lodges overlooking the reservoir (coming soon), a Wild Activity Garden designed for relaxation and exploration, and even resident donkeys to greet our visitors! We’re also investing in sustainability with new Solar PV to help power our adventures and upgrading the accommodation with new furnishings to enhance comfort and accessibility.
The evolution of Calvert Devon has been made possible thanks to the generosity and dedication of our supporters. The construction of our new lodges is funded through our 2024 Emergency Appeal, with all building work generously donated free of charge by Russell Johns, Adventure Build Ltd. Every other element of our exciting improvements – from the Wild Activity Garden and Solar PV to our new furnishings and activity enhancements – has been funded through a combination of restricted grants, unrestricted fundraising, donated materials and the incredible efforts of our volunteers.
For our guests, supporters, and friends, it’s business as usual – just with a brand-new look! We are still the same passionate team, offering the same life-changing experiences in the heart of Devon.
